Between the Ugab and the huab River in southern Damaraland ies
a vast, beautiful unspoilt wilderness and unsurpassed desert scenery,
unusual geological formations, archaelogical sites and a unique
variety of fauna & flora lies Mowani Mountain Camp - meaning
“Place of God”.
Nestling among rugged boulders at a high elevation, affording panoramic
views over the pristine surroundings, the camp creates the impression
of an African village.
Great care has been taken with the design of the recreational areas.
A pool with deck is lodged between boulders, while the Boma of Mowani
marks a special area for sundowners and campfire discussions.
The luxury-tents are elegantly decorated with furnishings especially
designed for convenience and comfort.
