Achab Lodge has been established as a private initiative for the conservation of various fauna and flora, including the mountain zebra (Burchell's), leopard, and endemic bird species such as the Herero Chat, as well as Quiver and Moringa trees.
Achab Lodge is located at the foot of the Gamgamichab Mountains, just 9.5 km south of Usakos on the D1914 road. It is situated 50 km from Spitzkoppe and 25 km from Anib Ranch.
