Camping at Spitskoppe is world famous. A mountain oasis in the Namib desert, with unique oversized boulders and secret caves, allows the visitor to camp in complete peace and tranquility.
PLEASE NOTE: That in strict compliance with the Namibian Heritage Act and Environmental Laws, a complete Environmental Impact Assessment of the whole Spitzkoppe Mountain, with a resulting Area Management Plan, has resulted in guidelines protecting our Mountain and Rock paintings.

Directions to Spitskoppe Rest Camp
Take the B2 from Swakopmund towards Usakos. 40 kilometres before Usakos turn left onto the D1918 towards Hentjies Bay. After 18 kilometres turn right onto the D3716 and drive a further 11 kilometres. Accessible by ordinary cars.
