in the sparkling pool situated in the centre of the campsite. After
a long day of exploring the Sossusvlei area, there is nothing better
than sitting round a campfire listening to the night-time noises of
the local wildlife in the Namib.

Treasure the ambience of the Namib Desert - under the star studded skies, to the tune of the barking gecko and far cry of a jackal. The Sossus Oasis Camp Site offers shaded individual sites in a clean, tidy and well-kept environment.
Each site has its own toilet, basin, hot/cold shower, barbeque, kitchen
wash-up facility and electricity.
The ablution facility of each site is equipped with a hot / cold shower (powered with its own solar geyser), toilet and wash basin. The shaded veranda area also features a kitchen wash-up facility and a preparation area.
Enough space is provided on both sides of the shaded ablution and paved
area for a caravan, tent(s) and parking for your vehicle(s).
The sparkling swimming pool situated in the centre of the campsite is the ideal place to cool down after a long day exploring the Sossusvlei area.
A fuel and service station, tyre workshop, stocked utility shop and Internet
café is available at the adjacent Sossus Oasis Service Station. Meals
and adventure activities may be booked at the nearby Sossusvlei Lodge.
Sossus Oasis Camp Site is situated in Southern Namibia amidst the Namib Desert - right before the entrance gate to the famous Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon in the Namib Naukluft Park.
Sesriem is located at the intersection of the C27 road from Helmeringhausen and the D826, which brings traffic in from Solitaire in the north and Maltahöhe in the south when it joins with the C19.
The entrance gate to Sossus Oasis is situated on the left-hand side of the D826 road, approximately 13 kilometres from the T-junction intersection with the C19.
