Welcome to Sossus Oasis Camp Site
Luxury camp sites at the entrance gate to Sesriem and Sossusvlei - the area well known for the towering red sand dunes of the Namib Desert and the remarkable depths of the Sesriem Canyon.
Treasure the ambience of the Namib Desert - under the star studded skies, to the tune of the barking gecko and far cry of a jackal. The Sossus Oasis Camp Site offers 12 shaded individual sites in a clean, tidy and well-kept environment. Each site has its own toilet, basin, hot/cold shower, barbeque, kitchen wash-up facility and electricity.
You can enjoy the magnificent views from your paved veranda or relax in the sparkling pool situated in the centre of the campsite. After a long day of exploring the Sossusvlei area, there is nothing better than sitting round a campfire listing to the night-time noises of the local wildlife in the Namib.
A fuel and service station, tyre workshop, stocked utility shop and Internet café is available at the adjacent Sossus Oasis Service Station. Meals and adventure activities may be booked at the nearby Sossusvlei Lodge.
Facilities
The ablution facility of each site is equipped with a hot / cold shower (powered with its own solar geyser), toilet and wash basin. The shaded veranda area also features a kitchen wash-up facility and a preparation area.
Enough space is provided on both sides of the shaded ablution and paved area for a caravan, tent(s) and parking for your vehicle(s).
The sparkling swimming pool situated in the centre of the camp site is the ideal place to cool down after a long day exploring the Sossusvlei area.

A 50% deposit is required to hold your reservation with balance payable 10 weeks before your travel date. Bank transfer, credit and debit cards accepted for pre-bookings. Paypal available on request.
Sossus Oasis Camp Site is situated in Southern Namibia amidst the Namib Desert - right before the entrance gate to the famous Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon in the Namib Nauklauft Park.
Sesriem is situated at the intersection of the C27 road from Helmeringhausen and the D826 which brings traffic in from Solitaire in the north and Maltahöhe in the south when it joins with the C19.
The entrance gate to Sossus Oasis is located on the lefthand side of the D826 road, ±13 kilometres from the T-junction intersection with the C19.
