Accommodation at Tambuti Lodge
Tambuti is a small Lodge beautifully perched above the Kavango River overlooking
the floodplain. We are one of the rare lodges looking at the river without

How to Get There
The B8 is the main road through which visitors arrive and depart, though it bypasses the town of Rundu. To reach Rundu, turn off at the buzzing Shell petrol station. This road takes you past the sports stadium on your right to a four-way stop junction, with the main Engen fuel station on your left.
Tambuti Lodge is just 1.2 km from this point. After 500 metres, you'll encounter
another four-way stop with shops on both sides and a new shopping mall to
your right. Continue straight until you reach the old river road at a T-junction
facing Omashare Lodge. Turn left and follow the signs to Tambuti Lodge, which
is only 400 metres from here.
After 200 metres, turn right onto a small gravel road leading to the river.
You'll pass the Ministry of Forestry's nursery before reaching Tambuti Lodge
on your left-hand side.
