SCHWALBENHEIM offers Namibian hospitality combined with comfort,
security, privacy and independence - making your stay in Windhoek
unique and memorable.
The word itself means "Home for the swallows" and this
is really what we offer: A HOME AWAY FROM HOME!
SCHWALBENHEIM lies in the very sought after Bismarckstreet.
It is ideally situated for travellers from all over the world, be
it for leisure or for business.
Perfect also for visitors from other parts of Namibia who have
to come to Windhoek for medical reasons, on business or just to
do some shopping.
Schwalbenheim offers accommodation that will satisfy your needs
spacewise, budgetwise and otherwise.
We are always happy to be of assistance and speak English, German,
Afrikaans and some French.
We have eight self-catering units ranging in size from small over
medium to large.
All rooms are different in layout and design.
The small one is suitable for two persons, having one large room
with 2 beds, breakfast table and little lounge area.
The medium rooms have a separate bedroom with two beds and either
one or two additional beds in the lounge/diningroom. The rooms are
friendly, spacious and comfortable.
The large unit has two bedrooms with two beds each and really offers
comfort, space and a touch of class.
Each unit has a little kitchen and a bathroom with tub or shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge and oven, kettle and coffee
maker (complimentary coffee and tea on the shelf), cutlery, crockery
, pots and pans as well as its own telephone line, Tv, radio and
washing machine. Fresh linen and towels are included. Ceiling fans
provide the necessary breeze on a hot summer's night. Also no need
to worry about valuables as each unit has its own little wall safe.
In front of each apartment is a little garden patio to enjoy fresh
garden air, the beautiful Namibian evenings, starry nights and most
of all ---- to relax.
As regards parking space you need not worry. There is more than
enough parking on the premises. The gate stays locked at all times,
and with some units you will have your car right in front of your
door. The garden itself has plenty of trees and shrubs, a patch
of lawn and just for those moments in between there is a table tennis
to play some ping pong.
There are three directions you could come from when arriving in
Windhoek.

keep to the right and right-turn into Mandume Ndemufayo Ave. Follow
Mandume Ndemufayo Ave. all the way until you see the sign board
SCHWALBENHEIM on your left hand side. Turn left into the first street
(Church street) and then again first left into Bismarckstreet. SCHWALBENHEIM
you will find on your left side a couple of metres after the turn
off.
Coming from the north from Okahandja, on the Western Bypass take
the turnoff marked City. You are now on Sam Nujoma Drive. Stay on
it for a few kilometres until you come to the crossing with Hosea
