Hilltop House, situated in a cul de sac in a quiet residential
area, affords guests superb views over the Klein Windhoek Valley.
Hilltop House is a Bavarian style house built in the 1950s as an
art studio with an Oregon pine deck extending round the upper floor.
Our spacious rooms are decorated in a contemporary African-colonial
style and boast all the modern amenities which discerning travellers
have come to expect.
Hilltop House swimming pool with adjoining tanning deck has a commanding
view over the Klein Windhoek Valley extending to the mountains in
the far distance and is a perfect spot for sipping a sundowner or
spending some relaxing time after a safari writing postcards and
enjoying the sun!
Breakfasts are a delicious affair served to you either in the comfort
and privacy of your room or under the shade of a large jacaranda
tree on the pool terrace.

From the International Airport you arrive in Windhoek at a T- Junction
with Sam Nujoma Drive. Turn right into Sam Nujoma Drive. At the
second set of traffic lights turn right into Nelson Mandela Avenue.
Go straight through the second set of traffic lights you come to
on Nelson Mandela Avenue and you will pass Von Eckenbrecher Street
on the left. The next street to the left is Schanzen Road. Turn
left into Schanzen Road and take the first right into Promenaden
Rd and drive until you have to stop for a stop sign. This is a very
sharp intersection with Lessing Street. You have to make a very
tight turn left into Lessing Street up the hill and we are number
12 Lessing Street – the first house on the left.
