At Impalila Island Lodge we combine our guests’ leisure time
creatively with excellent, unobstrusive service, outstanding cuisine
and a variety of activities, including sunset game cruises along
the Chobe River, mokoro trips (dug-out canoes), island walks, excellent
birding and tiger fishing, as well as visits to traditional fishing
villages. The lodge is centred innovatively around two ancient Baobab
trees on Impalila Island at the confluence of the Zambezi and Chobe
Rivers, where Namibia meets Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe. We have
eight luxury wood- and thatch en-suite chalets, each privately situated
with elevated decks at the water’s edge; a swimming pool,
curio shop, reference library and landing strip.
