Accommodation at Lapa Lange
Lapa Lange has sleeping facilities in en suite self catering units as well
as en suite rooms which offer a dinner, bed and breakfast service. Camping
facilities are also available on the lawn or around the water hole
You can choose either camping around the waterhole or sitting and relaxing at the lapa. Showers, toilets, DSTV, and braai facilities are available. This is the ideal place for tour groups who want to visit during the day.
Lapa Lange's restaurant offers uniquely Namibian country style cuisine
and can also serve a la carte meals when required.
Traditional Campfire Experience
Owners, Piet and Ems de Lange, prefer to introduce visitors to the traditional campfire experience, serving potjiekos and lapa barbecues. This offers a special treat to tourists unfamiliar with this beloved Namibian cooking experience.
According to the De Langes, their entire philosophy in the operation of
Lapa Lange is based on the principle of Namibian "Gemütlichkeit."

Accommodation and Future Developments
There are Self-catering chalets, each with two double bedrooms and fully equipped with barbeque facilities. We are also planning to build more bungalows. In Addition, a pool bar has been constructed over a waterhole, offering an extended view of the surroundings, animals, and uniquely arranged gardens.
Preparations have been made for information and conference centres that can hold up to 60 people. A camping area with private restrooms is also under development. In addition, there is a restaurant, bar, and a fully outfitted kitchen with a cool room and freezer.
Eco-Culture Farm
We are also planning an Eco-Culture farm where tourists can observe the following:
- The Nama Culture: The Nama are the cultural group of
our region, offering a unique and in-depth experience of their primitive
culture.
- The Hoodia Plant: A plant used by the 'bushmen' for
various purposes, it is still used today for medical and diet products.
- Astrology: Perfect sunsets and clear night skies provide
an ideal setting for stargazing. We plan to set up telescopes for those
interested in studying the 'Southern Cross', which is visible in this
region.
- Red Dunes and Adventure: The farm next to Lapa Lange
offers red dunes for camping and buggy rides.
- Anthills Tour: The well-known anthills on the farm
are fascinating. We offer a special outing where tourists can learn about
the construction of these anthills on our “Ant Trail”.
