Kalahari Anib Lodge in Mariental in south-central Namibia, lies on the B1 national road 145 miles (232 km) north of Keetmanshoop and 170 miles (274 km) southeast of Windhoek.

Kalahari Anib Lodge lies like a lush green oasis in the midst of red Kalahari dunes. The restaurant and chalets are arranged around a shaded courtyard with a large swimming pool. 36 rooms with a private veranda are available for tour groups.

For individual travelers there are 19 rooms, set slightly apart, with views of the open savannah with a separate swimming pool. Camping guests are catered for as well: 3 exclusive sites are equipped with private bathrooms and barbeque facilities.

Located about 30km northeast of Mariental the lodge makes for a perfect stopover on the way south. Guests experience the magic of the Kalahari on a hiking tour or on a nature drive around the Gondwana Kalahari Park (100 km2). There are animals such as springbok, oryx, antelope, zebra and ostrich.

Join a drive through Gondwana Kalahari Park at sunrise or around sunset, spend time watching vultures and marabou storks at the feeding place for carrion birds, or explore the Kalahari on foot by following one of our hiking trails.

Follow the B1 from Windhoek to Mariental approximately 264km. Turn off onto the C20 and drive approximately 30km until the turnoff of the Kalahari Anib Lodge.
