Welcome to Maltahohe and its historic hotel. The hotel was established in1907 which makes it the oldest country hotel in Namibia still partly operating in the original buildings.

Accommodation at Maltahohe Hotel
We offer en suite double rooms, family rooms, sleeping up to six guests with shared bath and toilet facilities, an 18 bed backpackers dormitory for the discerning traveller.
Furthermore a very cosy bar, good food all day, internet facilities, a
curio shop, outside relaxation around the swimming pool and personal service.
Guided Day Tours
From the hotel, we offer guided day tours to Sossusvlei via Sesriem Canyon and Duwisib Castle with a picnic lunch en route. Another tour we offer is to Kub on the banks of the Fish River, featuring its historic police station and school, with a lunch barbecue and game drive on Farm Wildpark.
Other tours to surrounding attractions can be organised on short notice.

Located about 300 kilometres south of Windhoek, Maltahohe Hotel makes an ideal stopover en route to Sossusvlei, Lüderitzbucht, the Diamond Fields, or the mighty Fish River Canyon.
