Accommodation at Ugab Terrace Lodge

Chalets
The 16 carefully furnished chalets, all with shower, flush toliet and veranda, are situated on a terrace and allow the visitor a breathtaking view on the Terrace Mountains. Picture yourself on the veranda, sipping your favourite drink and experiencing the unbelievable view. The peace and tranquillity will take away that city rush, and allow you to once again look forward to a daily wonder, the sun rising and setting.

Artfully decorated walls and indigenous furniture create a warm and welcoming feeling. The ceiling of each room is decorated with wood to create that warm African look and feel. This is not only very decorative, but an insulation wonder to ensure cool and warm climate control in the bungalow.

Please Note: Due to the fact that we generate our own electricity (battery generated power) our rooms do not have air-conditioning but are equipped with ceiling fans.

Campsites
We have 3 campsites where you can park your RV or construct your own camp. The campsites are situated against the incline at the foot of a hill overlooking the Ugab terraces and valley. The campsites include a breathtaking view of the terrace as well as a view over the bush canopy and the valley as far as your eyes will allow you to see, a spectacular view.

The campsites are at least 40 meters apart from each other with lots of natures natural trees ( Mopani) and growth in between, almost making campsites invisible to each other.

Each campsite has got its own braai with basin and water. The campsites share an ablution-block, consisting of 3 flush toilets and 3 showers, with a donkey for hot water. The Mopani trees are not very big trees but they do shed some shade during the morning till midday hours. From about 15:00 the large rocks and the hill start providing the shade. Unfortunately there are no power points nor any hot water at the campsites (except for that made by the donkey).

Restaurant:
We offer a Restaurant with divine food and a bar overlooking the Rock Vinger and beautiful Ugab Terraces valley.
