Welcome To Fiume Lodge
Fiume is owner managed and situated just 30 km north from the town of Grootfontein and 3 km from the B8, Fiume Lodge is an ideal stopover for travellers en-route to the north of Namibia, the Caprivi as well as Botswana and Victoria Falls.
The Lodge’s ideal location also provides easy access to Bushman
land, Khaudum National Park and Etosha National Park. The lodge is situated
on a 1400 hectare private game farm with more that 10 different big
game species and smaller mammal species.

Accommodation at Fiume Lodge
Comfortable accommodation is offered in stylish chalets, all equipped with air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom, twin- beds, mosquito nets as well as built-in cupboards to lock valuables for peace of mind.
Each chalet is built from stone and topped with thatch with interior designed with rose pine wood to create that cosy “warm” feeling people appreciate when travelling far from home.

Game Drives
Morning or afternoon game drives are offered on the 1400-hectare privately owned land.
The lodge is home to various game species including Eland, Oryx, Zebra, Kudu, Hartebeest, Impala, Springbok, Blesbok, Giraffe, and Ostrich, as well as a variety of bird and smaller mammal species, including the Damara Dik Dik.
Game drives last between 1½ - 2 hours, exploring the bush and its inhabitants.
Bushmen Excursions
With the assistance of our Bushman translator, Jörn Gressmann (who speaks the language fluently), the lodge offers half and full-day excursions into Bushmen land, providing a unique insight into the lives of these ancient communities.
Breakfast and lunch packs are provided for both half and full-day tours.
Half-day tours return to the lodge after lunch, while full-day tours return just before sunset.

"A Day in the Life of a Namibian Farmer" Excursion
This half or full-day excursion includes breakfast and lunch with the farmer and his wife.
Over breakfast, the farmer will discuss the day's duties and provide some history about the farm and its animals.
Guests will accompany the farmer in observing and participating in the farm duties assigned for the day.
Half-day guests depart after lunch, while full-day guests leave the farm just before sunset.
