Wildlife Conservation Efforts
Having obtained a special permission to naturalise elephants and black rhinos,
we offer you a good opportunity to see these rare animals in the wild.
In order to curb poaching, the world’s most gifted trackers, the Bushmen,
regularly track these animals which are highly sought-after by poachers.
Close tracking has recently proven to be one of the most efficient ways of
supervision and surveillance. In close cooperation with environmental protection
efforts we endeavour to preserve aspects of unspoilt Africa.
Directions
You can reach Kuzikus via the tarmac road C23 to Dordabis, where the tarmac road ends. You will travel the next 90 km on a good dirt road. At the junction to Leonardville, leave the C23 and drive 1 km on the 51 (Careful! Very sharp left bend).
Now take a right onto the D1423 and travel another 15 km until you come to a signpost for Kuzikus; follow the signposts. A small farm road will lead you to Kuzikus after about 15 km.
The total distance to Kuzikus from Windhoek City and the international airport
is about 180 km and 150 km, respectively. By private plane, the journey takes
45 minutes/90 miles, course 132mag from Windhoek Eros, runway 14/32 –
1000m (4400ft), firm dirt runway.
We would, of course, be pleased to meet you in Windhoek or at the International Airport Windhoek and drop you back again at the end of your stay.
