We yet again have the view and vision of combining affordability with comfort and style in a private and protected reserve directly adjacent to one of Namibia's highlights. The days when cattle still grazed the grounds around Etosha are long gone.

The mountains where the calves went missing, 'Ondundozonananandana', remain as silent witnesses. Today we preserve this land as prime destination for nature lovers with affordable accommodation in Etosha Village taking it's modern styling cues from a traditional African village.

Features of Etosha Self Catering Village
Forty well appointed self-catering chalets, each featuring twin beds, sleeper couch (free for children under 12!) and en-suite bathroom with open air shower. Each chalet has its own boma type self-catering area, complete with wash-up area, stove, fridge and BBQ. Eating & cooking utensils available.

Our well stocked on-site utility store, "One Stop Cuca Shop", will cater for all basic needs.
Etosha Village features an experience of a restaurant! In line with the history of this ancient land, the restaurant area is spread out, almost 'kraal-like' with natural and traditional building materials as shelter. Our famous buffet meals can be enjoyed in the 'kraal' of your choice.

The accommodation units at Etosha Village have been designed in such a way as to combine comfort with real African charm. The units give the impression of spacious closeness to nature while still conveniently providing all the modern conveniences that today's discerning traveler demands.

Guided Game viewing Trips
Minimum of 4 passengers per trip

Twice a day excursions to Etosha National Park using two game viewing vehicles taking a maximum of 10 passengers per vehicle per trip. Morning drives commence at approximately 06H30, depending on gate opening times which vary during seasonal changes. These trips last for approximately 6 hours and follow a route through the Anderson Gate to Okaukuejo and further on to various waterholes in a circular route back to Okaukuejo.

There is also a stop-over at "Olifant’s Bad" where guests are treated to light refreshments prepared by our gourmet kitchen and have the opportunity to 'stretch their legs' before continuing back to Okaukuejo where (weather permitting) they can spend a while watching the animals at the water hole.

Afternoon drives depart at 14H00 and follow the same route. Depending on the road-accessabilty, guides can suggest and follow alternative routes to ensure maximum exposure to the animals for the guests. Should vehicles be available , full-day trips can also be arranged. The guides driving these vehicles have extensive knowledge of the area and animals and give a "running commentary" as the trips proceed.

Sundowner Trips
Minimum of 4 passengers per trip
Weather permitting , sundowner trips take guests to a nearby hill to enjoy a "sundowner in the bush" while relaxing and watching the incredible sunsets of the area. The trip departs approximately 18H30 , depending on the weather and seasonal sunset changes and returns to the Village after sunset at approximately 19H30 for a sumptious, gourmet dinner.
