About 20 km south of Divundu (Bagani) Bridge along road C 48, just behind the Popa Falls, is the turnoff to NDHOVU SAFARI LODGE, a peaceful riverine retreat situated on the western banks of the Okavango River, overlooking the well-known Caprivi Game Park (Bwabwata National Park).

In true safari tradition, the lodge offers luxury tented accommodation, each tent being fully equipped with en-suite shower and toilet. For the adventurous type, we offer a Rivertent on the water. Here you can feel real close to crocodiles as well as the hippos. On its own small deck, you can either relax in the sun or try catching the famous tigerfish. In addition, we offer an exclusive camping area.

Experience nature at its best on an all-inclusive 2 or 3 day boat safari on the houseboat ”Hippo”.

Experience nature at its best on an all-inclusive 2 or 3 day boat safari on the houseboat ”Hippo” (sleeps 4 persons) up the Okavango river to the Popa Falls with daily excursions to the Bwabwata game park (which forms part of Africa's biggest transfrontier conservation area, namely the KAZA tranfrontier park).

Accommodation, beverages, game drives and boat trips are in the price included (All-Inclusive).

The charming, thatched communal "lapa" overlooks the banks of the river where elephants and hippo may congregate, giving residents unforgettable game and bird viewing opportunities whilst they enjoy sundowners at the bar and delicious three course meals.

Activities offered at the lodge includes sundowner cruises, fishing excursions, village tours and game drives whilst the birdlife in the area will satisfy the most ardent bird-watcher - over 400 different species have been recorded in the surroundings.

The Mahango Game reserve is a mere 2 km away, offering excellent opportunities to view elephant, buffalo, red lechwe and sable antelope, to name a few, in typical riverine and swampland habitat.

Ndhovu is only ten minutes' drive from the Bagani airstrip. By road it is 20 km from Bagani Bridge (Divundu), 225 km from Rundu and 340 km from Katima Mulilo, an ideal stopover between Etosha and Victoria Falls.

The bird life in the area will satisfy the most ardent bird watcher, with over 400 bird species having been recorded locally. In addition, boat trips and fishing excursions can be arranged.
